‘Ira Handa Yata’ Best Film in Identita Film Festival

The film ‘Ira Handa Yata’ directed by Bennett Rathnayake has received the Best Film Award at the Identita Italian Film Festival. The Identita Film Festival was held from the 27 July to 1 August in Italy.


 

The Sri Lankan Ambassador in Italy, Hemantha Warnakulasuriya has accepted the award on behalf of Bennett Rathnayake and National Film Cooperation.


 

This is the first time Sri Lanka has received an award at an Italian Film Festival.
