Case to be filed against suspects of Keheliya’s attempt murder

With advice from the Attorney General, the Colombo Magistrate ordered the CID to file a case against the suspects, who allegedly attempted to murder Media Minister, Keheliya Rambukwella.
Rashmi Singappuli, Chief Magistrate gave this order after examining the report of the CID at the hearing of this case.
18 suspects of this case were arrested in a special raid in the Pettah area in 2008. The magistrate has ordered these suspects to be kept in remand till August 25.
