Charge sheets on Danuna’s mother submitted

Charge sheets against Asoka Thilakarathna the mother of Danuna Tilakaratne was submitted to the Colombo High Courts judge Deepali Wijesundara a short while ago.

The charges against Asoka Thilakarathna are regarding an illegal deposit of over 70 million Rupees belonging to retired Gen. Sarath Fonseka’s political office in a safe of a private bank.

While the case was postponed to 01^st December Asoka Thilakarathna was granted bail by the Colombo High Court today. She was given Rs. 100 lacks personal bail and 10 lacks cash bail.
