Ravi’s vehicle attacked in Beliaththa

The vehicles of UNP MP Ravi Karunanyake were stoned last night around 9 p.m. in Hambantota, Beliaththa area, reported the Adaderana correspondent. This attack took place after the meetings Ravi Karunanyake organized in 5 areas in Hambantota, including Tangalle, Tissamaharama, Lunigamvehera and Beliaththa yesterday.

 

 

No injuries have been reported. Ravi Karunanayake claimed that 16 people attacked two of their vehicles, a luxury van and Land Rover. Five of the attackers have been identified by the UNP Pradeshiya Sabha representative, Athula Senarathne.

 

 

A police complaint has been filed and Ravi Karunanayake hopes that the police will take action against this crime.
