Chinese worker dies in fall

A Chinese construction worker has fallen to his death at the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant while working in a tall structure at the Power Plant site early today morning.


 According to Police reports the 21 year old construction worker operating under the HPCC Company had succumbed to his injuries when admitted to the Puttalam Hospital.  


The body of the Chinese national is scheduled to be sent to the Chilaw Hospital in order to carryout a post-mortem while the Kalpitiya Police are have commenced further investigations.
