Mervyn Silva’s post as the Kelaniya SLFP organizer has also automatically been temporarily suspended along with his SLFP membership, Sri Lanka Freedom Party General Secretary Maithripala Sirisena said. He added that this was done to facilitate the disciplinary inquiry against Silva.
