Investigations have revealed that Sakvithi Ranasinghe, who is under custody for alleged financial frauds, has forged deeds of several properties that have been sold by him, states the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Those who are facing problems after the purchase of such land from Sakvithi Ranasinghe could make an appointment with the CID through telephone number 0112 422176 and proceed to lodge a complaint.

Further, the CID requests those who had received cheques from the said suspect and are unable to cash them or those who had deposited money in the name of the suspect and are unable to recover them, are also urged to follow the above procedure to lodge their complaints.
