New garbage disposal system to be introduced

Minister of Environment, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa says that a new system will be introduced for garbage disposal under every Provincial and Municipal Council in the island.
The Minister made this statement at the inauguration event of the National Dengue Prevention Week held at the Colombo Municipal Council premises today.
He also said that the innocent lives lost due to the dengue epidemic are not only a loss for those respective families but also affects the future of the entire nation.
