The presenting of the Constitutional Amendment bill to Parliament by the government has caused troubles within the United National Party to increase, said UNP Parliamentarian Gamini Jayawickrama Perera.

He also stated that he will try his level best to make sure UNP MP Dayasiri Jayasekara and other UNP Parliamentarians refrain from sitting as independent MPs in parliament.

Gamini Jayawickrama further added that dates will be set for the next party conference at the upcoming UNP Working Committee meeting.
