Mega-Engineering Exhibition at Peradeniya

An Engineering Exhibition is being held from September 17 to 22 at the Engineering Faculty of Peradeniya University to mark its six decades of service to the nation.

 

 

During the past 60 years, the Faculty has produced nearly 10,000 engineers by providing an engineering education par excellence while maintaining its solid track record in laboratory services, research and consultancy geared towards the needs of the nation.

 

 

The exhibition, EngEx2010, will include display of cutting­ edge of advances in many disciplines of engineering, demonstrations of laboratory equipment and test rigs used for engineering education and research, numerous exhibits showcasing students’ creativity, demonstrations of undergraduate projects and many more.

 

 

The exhibition is open from 10.00 am to- 8.00 pm and is targeted at the general public, upper secondary school children and technical professionals.
