Injustices to Fonseka will be taken to Intl. Courts, says UNP

The United National Party (UNP) together with other opposition parties in Parliament will take the government injustices against Sarath Fonseka to the International Courts, said UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake while addressing a meeting at Seeduwa today (Sept. 19).
Mr. Attanayake said Gampaha District Parliamentarian Dr. Jayalath Jayawardhana will be entrusted with the task of taking the necessary documents etc to be submitted to the International Courts very soon.
The UNP General Secretary was addressing the gathering at Seeduwa town during a function to commemorate party members who had fallen victim to various tragic incidents like bomb blast. The ceremony was held to also mark the 65th anniversary of the UNP.
Party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe who was present left early due to other commitments while Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya, parliamentarians Joseph Michael Perera, Dr. Jayalath Jayawardhana among others who participated in the event.
