Conspiracy to topple Govt: Four suspects released

Colombo Magistrate Court today released four suspects arrested on charges of conspiring to topple the government. The TID told court that according to the advice of the Attorney General no legal proceeding will be taken against the alleged.

Accordingly the Magistrate released Brig. Duminda Kappetiwalana, Rtd. Majors General Sunil Amarasena De Silva, Upali Udayasingh, and journalist Ruwan Weerakoon.
