Gotabaya testifies in White Flag case

The hearing of the ‘White Flag’ court case against former Army Chief Sarath Fonseka was postponed to tomorrow. Army Legal Officer Major Karunaratne informed court that Fonseka had fallen ill today morning and was later examined by Navy doctors.

 

 

The Legal Officer added that it will be decided if Sarath Fonseka can be presented before the court after the doctors submit their report him.

 

 

According to Ada Derana correspondent Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Major General Shavendra Silva and Sri Lankas Permanent Representative in Geneva Shenuka Seneviratne appeared before court today to give testaments.
