Magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes off Japan’s Honshu

An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 struck off the east coast of ⁠Japan’s largest island, Honshu, on Thursday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The ⁠quake was at a depth of ⁠10 km (6.2 miles), GFZ ⁠said.
