Interim Budget allocation for Pres. Secretariat reduced - Ravi

The total budget allocation for the Presidential Secretariat in the interim budget will only be Rs. 2.56 billion, Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayaka said a short while ago. He added that this amount was mainly to pay bills of the earlier establishment.

 

Karunanayaka also revealed the allocation for the Presidential Secretariat from the 2009 as follows;

2009 – Rs. 6.34 billion

2010 – Rs. 7.65 billion

2011 – Rs. 5.63 billion

2012 – Rs. 5.9 billion

2013 – Rs. 8.24 billion

2014 – Rs. 10.49 billion

2015(allocated by previous regime) -  Rs. 9.59 billion
