Showers, Thundershowers at several places

The Met Department in its weather forecast for Tuesday (31) says that light showers will occur at several places in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district. Showers or thundershowers will develop at several places elsewhere during the afternoon or evening too.
The Met Dept. further states that there might be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.
