The Speaker’s decision to summon the Director General of the Bribery Commission to the parliament is completely unacceptable, Deputy Foreign Minister Ajith P. Perera said at a press conference today.

The Speaker meanwhile told in parliament today that the Bribery Commission should inform him before summoning MPs to the Commission.

The Director General was summoned to the Parliament on Monday (20) to inquire as to why they issued summons to the former President to appear before the Commission.
