Police read out Court order at protest

Police read out a court order at a protest currently being carried out near the Parliament, issued by the Kaduwela Magistrate pronouncing that no protests should be held near the Parliament or its surrounding areas.

 

A protest is currently underway in front of the Parliament organized by a group of UPFA MPs and their supporters against the summons issued on former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to appear before the Bribery Commission.
