Actor stabbed to death in Maharagama

The police have launched an investigation to apprehend a suspect who allegedly stabbed to death a 44-year old actor at a restaurant in Maharagama, the police Spokesperson said.

Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunathilaka said the incident had taken place last night (28) following a personal dispute.

The deceased has been identified as India Pradeep Ratnayake. His post-mortem examination will be conducted at the Colombo South hospital today.
