War crimes probe: don’t accept evidence from unknown- Bandula

There is no point of accepting evidence from unknown individuals against soldiers and war heroes with respect of the war crimes probe, MP Bandula Gunawardena says.
The observation was made while responding to reporters in front of the UN head office in Colombo this afternoon (08).
Gunawardena also condemned the Government’s decision to give amnesty for Tamil prisoners. “We cannot accept evidence from unknown individuals against soldiers,” he added.
The Joint Opposition also handed over a letter to the UN head office in Colombo to express its opinion on the UNHRC resolution on Sri Lanka.
