Gotabaya to appear before CoI on May 09

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa will appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (CoI) to give a statement on May 09.

The commission is about to record a statement from Gotabaya Rajapaksa with respect to the allegation on misuse of property and planes belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force, an official said.

Meanwhile, former President’s son MP Namal Rajapaksa has also been summoned by the CoI. Namal Rajapaksa will appear before the commission on May 10.
