Identification of lands for resettlement to end by next Friday

President Maithripala Sirisena has given instructions to the relevant officials to finalize the process of identification of lands for the resettlement of internally displaced persons in the North by next Friday (03).
He gave these instructions during a special meeting on the resettlement of displaced people in North and East, held at the Presidential Secretariat, the PMD reported.
Ministry secretaries, including the Secretary to the President, P.B. Abeykoon, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Secretary to the Ministry of Land I.H.K. Mahanama, Tri Forces Commanders and State officials joined the meeting.
