Chopper with three ministers makes emergency landing in N’ Eliya

A private helicopter carrying three ministers on its way to Nuwara Eliya made an emergency landing in a farming land on Thursday (25) afternoon, Ada Derana reporter said.


The helicopter had three ministers onboard, Ministers Sajith Premadasa, Navin Dissanayake and Deputy Minister Indika Bandara, according to the reporter.


The ministers were on their way to attend an event held in Nuwara Eliya, it was reported.


The pilot had landed the chopper safely in the field, the reason for the forced landing has not yet been disclosed, reporter added.
