Water board predicts implementation of water restrictions due to drought

Steps may have to be taken to implement water restrictions to reduce water consumption in response to the current drought in several areas, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says.

The NWSDB said that steps would be taken in a bid to prevent severe water shortages in the near future.

However, the water board further announced that a final decision in this regard hes not been made yet.
