16 hour water cut in several areas on Sunday

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that a 16 hour water cut will be imposed on Sunday (30) from 8.00am to 12.00 midnight in several areas, due to urgent repairs to be carried out at the Kalatuwawa Water Treatment Plant.
Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Rukmalgama, Pelenwatta, Mattegoda, Homagama, Godagama, Meepe, Padukka, Hanwella and Kaluaggala will be affected by the water cut.
The water board regrets the inconvenience caused and urged consumers to stock up on water beforehand.
