GCE Ordinary Level exams begin today

GCE Ordinary Level examinations began today. All candidates have been requested to be present at the examinations centres by 8am with the NIC or a valid passport, the Commissioner of Examinations told Ada Derana.
Over 700,000 candidates will sit for the Examination at 5669 centers islandwide.
The Exams Department says that stern action will be taken against the students who violate regulations at the examination. Using mobile phones and electronic appliances have been totally banned.
