MPs vehicles: Rs.370 M supplementary estimate presented

A supplementary estimate of Rs 370 million to purchase vehicles for eight ministers and MPs has been presented to parliament, Ada Derana reporter said.

The Supplementary Allocations from the Supplementary Support Services and Contingent Liabilities Project appearing under Expenditure Head No. 240 of the Department of National Budget for the period from 1 February 2017 to 28 February 2017 under Section 6 (1) of the Appropriation Act, No. 24 of 2016 sought approval to purchase motor vehicles for eight ministers and some ministries.
