LOEU to stage a 24-hour token strike

The Locomotive Operating Engineers Union (LOEU) will resort to a token strike from midnight Monday, the union announced today.
The token strike will continue for 24-hours, its Secretary Indika Dodangoda said.
The LOEU had threatened strike as the authorities have failed to address several issues including proposed wage hike, it was reported.
