Leader of the E.P.R.L.F, Suresh Premachandran has stated that the T.N.A leader, R. Sampanthan should resign from his post.

He further added that Sampanthan had not taken any action towards solving any issues that the Tamil people face, and is focusing on issues within the party, and hence should be evicted, during a press conference held in Jaffna yesterday (26).

The TNA, made up of the TELO, PLOT and the EPRLF had been led by Sampanthan since its inception.

The leaders of PLOT and TELO are yet to make a statement regarding the sentiments brought out by Sampanthan.
