The strike that had been organized by Railway personnel, that was due to be held later today (27), has been postponed.

A discussion held with the Minister of Transport, Nimal Siripala the decision to postpone the strike was made. 

Siripla had promised the members of the Train drivers union that permission will be granted by the cabinet to remove any anomalies that exists between railway drivers salaries, later tomorrow (28).
