More protests against SAITM

A street protest would be taking place in the evening today (26), in order to demand the closing of SAITM, Malabe, Medical Faculty Students’ Action Committee states.
The committee’s Summoner, Ryan Jayalath stated that the demonstration would originate in front of the Faculty of Medicine in Colombo, at 6.30 pm today (26).
He stated that the protesters would be walking to the Fort Railway Station and that they would be conducting a peaceful demonstration.
According to the Summoner, more demonstrations would be organized continuously, as the solutions offered by the Government to remedy the SAITM issue were unacceptable.
