University cut-off marks to be released in May

Cut-off marks for entrance to university for the new academic year will be released at the end of May, University Grants Commission states.

President of the University Grants Commission, Professor Mohan De Silva stated that final preparations are being made for the release.

Whilst applications for universities were accepted online, a total of 71,111 applications have been received.

Students will be accepted into 210 courses for the new academic year.

Professor Mohan De Silva stated that the cut-off marks would be released after separating the applications according to the courses.
