Crocodile attacks young girl - body still missing

A 13-year-old girl who went to bathe in the Pulnewa Lake in Galnewa was attacked by a crocodile.

Local residents and the SL Navy have commenced search operations to find the girl that went missing yesterday (27) evening.

The missing girl has not yet been found, reports reveal.

The victim’s mother stated that she witnessed the crocodile dragging the girl away when she went to the lake with her relatives.

The missing girl is reported to be a resident of Lolugaswewa, Galnewa.
