Traffic movement along the Ambatale – Kotalanga road near the Kohilawatta junction has been hindered due to land subsidence.

Police stated that a portion of land had subsided near the public cemetery in the proximity of the Kelani River.

Police have requested that the public use the Colombo-Avissawella Old Road via Kotikawatta and Wellampitiya as an alternative route.
