Brawl during GMOA meeting puts doctor in hospital

A fight that had broken out between two doctors has left one in hospital with injuries.
The fight had broken out during a beverage break held after the Government’s Medical Officer’s Association (GMOA) meeting, discussing the next steps that should be taken regarding the private medical school in Malabe.
A hospital correspondent stated that the doctor is currently receiving treatment at the National Hospital in Colombo.
When questioned, GMOA correspondents stated that do not have any further information to provide on the situation.
