Irrigation Engineer’s Association goes on strike

June 23, 2017   12:58 pm

The token strike is being held in protest against appointing an official who is not aware of the Irrigation Industry for the post of the Secretary of the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources Management.

Correspondents of the Irrigation Engineer’s Association stated that the post had always been held by a senior engineer of the association.

They added that although officials were notified of the stir the new appointee had caused, no proper solution had been presented.
