SP Ruwan Gunasekara appointed Police Spokesman

Attorney-at-law SP Ruwan Gunasekara has been appointed as the new Police Media Spokesperson. 

The new appointment comes in the wake of DIG Priyantha Jayakody deciding to resign from his position as Police Spokesperson due to health reasons. 

SP Ruwan Gunasekara, who has previously served as Police Spokesman, has been reappointed to the position, the Police Spokesman’s Office said in a statement.
