Kottawa murder: suspect remanded until July 4

The suspect who allegedly killed a 26-year-old girl in Kottawa has been remanded until July 4 by the Homaga Acting Magistrate, police said.


According to police, the individual was arrested as he surrendered to the Kottawa police last evening.


An investigation to locate the involved suspect commenced after the body of deceased Tharindi Aloka was recovered at her house in kottawa on June 23.


The preliminary reports suggested that she was hacked to death with a sharp weapon.


The suspect will be produced in the Court again on July 4.
