Two killed following fatal accident in Eheliyagoda

A fatal accident in Eheliyagoda has claimed the lives of a 7-year-old child and another individual on Monday morning (26), police said.


The accident occurred after a cab had collided with a trishaw near the Eheliyagoda Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya.


Two people were also injured following the accident and they are receiving treatments at the Eheliyagoda hospital, police added.


The driver of the cab has been arrested. He he will be produced before the Avissawella Magistrate’s Court today.
