CID raids illegal spare parts importer in Pothuhara

The Criminal Investigations Department has raided store in Pothuhara, which was allegedly importing vehicle spare parts to the country illegally.
Police Media spokesperson revealed that the raid was carried out after an anonymous source reported the store to authorities.
Furthermore, an individual linked to the illegal trade was arrested during the operation.
Police reported he was remanded till the August 02 after being presented before the Polgahawela Magistrate’s Court..
