Japan SL Friendship Foundation donates fire trucks

The Japan- Sri Lanka Friendship Foundation donated two fire trucks worth Rs. 150 million to Sri Lanka at the President’s official residence today ( 24th July).


The donation was made according to a request made by Matara district Member of Parliament Buddhika Pathirana.

 
Representing the Japan-Sri Lanka Friendship Foundation, its Chairman Dr. Lal Thilakarathne handed over the fire trucks symbolically to President Maithripala Sirisena and subsequently the President handed over it to the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathi and to the Chairman of the Hingurakgoda Pradeshiya Sabha Mrs. N.T.K. Rabukkanage.

 
MP Buddika Pathirana also participated in the event.
