Suitable constitution to be drafted promptly - Ganesan

Minister of National Co-existence, Dialogue and Official Languages, Mano Ganesan stated that no matter what’s said, he will fully support and take part in the drafting of a constitution suitable to Sri Lanka. 

He further added that the committee appointed to draft the constitution will meet sometime this week, to pitch in the final clauses.

Meanwhile, groups such as the ‘Maha Sangarathnaya’ stated that there was no need for a new constitution to be drafted at this point in time.
