Two dead, 3 injured in fatal car crash in Pindeniya

Two persons were killed while another 3 were wounded after a car veered off the road and toppled into the Gurugoda Oya in the Pindeniya area on the Kegalle-Avissawella road this morning (17).
Police said that five persons including three women traveling in the car at the time were hospitalized following the incident and that two of them succumbed to injuries shortly after.
The deceased have been identified as the 57-year-old driver of the vehicle and his 31-yearold son.
Pindeniya Police has launched an investigation into the incident.
