Scholarship examinations commence today

The grade 5 scholarship examinations are scheduled to commence today (20) at 9.30am. The examinations will be conducted in 3014 examination centers all across the island.
The examinations department has reported that 356,728 applicants will be facing the examination today. Additionally there are 562 applicants with special needs who will sit for the examination. It is also reported that 28,000 invigilators have been assigned to examination centers.
The department of examinations has stated that as the examination papers are confidential, any individual in possession of a question paper or caught making copies of the question paper will be arrested after the conclusion of exams.
