New constitution is a citizens’ request- Lal Wijenayake

Chairman of the Public Representations Committee on Constitutional Reforms, Lal Wijenayake says that the new constitution is a request made by the citizens.

While addressing a seminar held in Kandy,he pointed out that some conspirators are attempting to collapse the introduction of the new constitution by carrying false rumors.
 
Meanwhile, Chief incumbent of Kotte Sri Samargri Dhamma Maha Sangha Council Ve.Dr. Kotapitiye Rahula Thero stated that raising public awareness about the new constitution is of utmost importance.

The Thero made these observances while addressing a ceremony held in Vivekarama Viharaya, Delgoda-Kanduboda.
