Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry today (20) to record a statement over Central Bond scam.

The Prime Minister was given summons last week to appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the alleged Bond Scam.

A questionnaire was put forth to the PM by the commission, and the answers were established through an affidavit, it is reported.

However, the PM was informed by the commission that he will be questioned only regarding the Central Bank Bond scam today due to a need of clarification and other testimonials.
