Mother and daughter stabbed to death in Mahiyangana

A 59-year-old mother and her 40-year old daughter have been stabbed to death at Mapakadawewa in Mahiyanganaya last night (21), Police reported.
The son of the victim has informed Mahiyanganaya Police and accordingly the police commenced investigations into the incident.
The postmortem examination will be conducted today (21).
Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspects.
