Four Indians arrested attempting to smuggle out gold

Four Indian nationals have been arrested today (18), by the Customs officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) for attempting to smuggle out gold to Chennai.

The Police have found 12 pieces of gold concealed on their bodies and the value of the gold is estimated be over Rs 1.5 million, according to the Customs attached to the BIA.

Customs are currently interrogating the 4 arrested Indians.
