State media shouldn’t be used for mud-slinging – former President

State media companies run by people’s tax money should not be used to sling mud at persons, says former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

He mentioned this last evening (08) attending an event held in Battaramulla for the launch of a private online television channel.

Speaker should take a decision regarding he post of Opposition Leader and there is no need for asking parties on that, he further said.
