Person arrested with ‘ICE’ in Peliyagoda

An individual has been arrested in Meegahawatta area, Peliyagoda for the possession of Crystal Methamphetamine, a stimulant drug also known as ‘ICE’.
The arrest has been made during a raid carried out by the officers of Peliyagoda Crime Division, according to the Police Media Spokesperson’s Office.
The police have seized 300 mg of ‘ICE’ in possession of the suspect at the time of the arrest.
The suspect, a 29-year-old youth residing in Peliyagoda, is to be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court today (21).
